ABB Spain has become a strategic partner of the ASTI Robotics Challenge, organised by the ASTI Foundation, whose final will be held next Saturday, May 7th, at the Museo de la Evolución Humana in Burgos. The sixth edition of the challenge has as main objective the development of STEM talent and the empowerment of the new generation of leaders in the field of collaborative mobile robotics. And this year, as one of the great novelties, participants and their robots will have to pass a test sponsored by ABB Spain. All teams will have to reproduce a figure (square, triangle or rectangle) previously obtained at random and by a collaborative robotic arm provided by ABB Robotics.

The final of this year's challenge will have a total of 160 competitors in 35 teams from Castilla y León, Madrid, Asturias, Cantabria and Navarra who will compete from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm to demonstrate their skills in the field of robotics, overcoming the different tests designed by the ABB AMR team.
